2010 Rosé

Tasting notes

This Rosé is a blend of Merlot, Gamay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon, all sourced from our ripest vineyard blocks. True to its name, its deep rose colour heralds bright aromas of wild flowers and field berries. The red cherry and raspberry on the palate lend a long juicy finish.

Food pairings

Pairs well with summer dishes and complements fresh BC Dungeness Crab beautifully.

Awards

This wine is based primarily on Merlot but also includes juice of Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay Noir and Pinot Noir. The colour has an appealingly vibrant hue. The fruity aromas signal what comes next – luscious flavours of strawberry, cherry and cranberry. The finish is crisp and dry. 89 points - John Schreiner

Winemaking

Produced through the "saignée" method of draining juice off the skins after a short contact period. The juice is then clarified through cold-settling and given a slow, cool fermentation to preserve fresh aromas and flavours.
