A twist on the classic pairing, the bright cranberry aromas of Cabernet Franc highlight the deep plum and blackberry scents of merlot. Its charming bouquet carries over, and flavours of red and black cherries linger on the palate. This beautifully balanced wine has a lush tannin structure, and a seamless finish.
: Three Naramata Bench vineyards were drawn from for the Cabernet Franc tank for this blend. After an 8 day cold-soak, it was fermented and given 24 day total skin contact then 12 months barrel maturation. Blended with merlot from four prime Naramata Bench vineyards for a final split of 52% Merlot to 48% Cabernet Franc.
It is bottled under screw cap to ensure the integrity of freshness and flavour.
