Our classic Pinot Gris—luscious ripe fruit created scents of orange blossoms and vanilla mingled with tropical fruit aromas followed by a rich and supple mid-palate.
Select vineyard blocks were chosen for fruit producing rich tropical fruit flavours in aroma and mid-palate. Careful skin contact brought a touch of colour. 59% percent barrel-fermented in Tokaj barrels (about ½ new). The remainder of the juice was cool fermented in small stainless steel vats. Barrels were held sur lies for 5 months with batonnage every fortnight bringing a creamy texture to the palate.
