Rich nutty and bright floral aromas lead into a luscious palate in our first white “port”.
Winemaker Notes
Our old vines Muscat Ottonel produces beautiful aromas and flavours that cry out to be preserved. Barrel-aged spirit distilled from Hillside wine is added to halt the fermentation in an older French oak barrel. Bottled summer 2018. Aging over 9 months integrated the spirit and fruit profiles beautifully. The sweetness level is 7.5, or 75 g/L residual sugar.

The balanced sweetness of this wine makes a perfect match for cheeses, biscotti or dried fruits, as well as the basis for a fun tonic cocktail
