About this wine
The 2022 growing season started late and had moderate summer temperatures, preserving fruit aromas and controlling sugar
production so alcohol levels are in good balance. Stellar late-season weather allowed the grapes to to achieve flavour and tannin ripeness. This blend was created from 4 principal blocks of Merlot: our own Hidden Valley Vineyard, a bowl-shaped valley behind the winery on Naramata Road; Gjoa’s Vineyard, just across the street; Dickinson Vineyard, about halfway to Naramata and below the road, and Occhi Dolci Vineyard to the South, perched above the lake below Munson Mountain.
