About this wine
Hand harvested and sorted fruit was sourced from the 12 year old vines of Dickinson Vineyard, situated on a stunning sun drenched bluff above the lake about halfway to Naramata village. A warm summer – Smoke cover, from fires to the North, during the hottest periods, acted as a shade, prevented sunburn, loss of aromatics and excessive sugar production. Early bloom resulted in long hang-time overall, promoting great fruit presence as well as perfectly ripened tannins.
