Bright aromas of wild flowers & ruby red grapefruit, red cherry & blood orange.
About this wine
This Rosé is blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of floral whites. A press-load of pinot noir and another of merlot/cabernet franc form the backbone of this year’s rosé. After minimal skin contact, juice was drained and blended with small portions of juice drained (saignee – 15%) during cold soak from blocks of Merlot & Syrah. After it was fermented cool in stainless steel a bit of floral white wine was blended in to enhance the aromas.
