The principal vineyards for this wine are surrounded by fruit orchards along the Naramata Bench. The ultimate "terroir"influence - contributing peach, nectarine and apple characteristics. 2022 was a late, cool summer with a warm long autumn. The cooler temperature held the complex aromatics nicely and allowed
us a bit longer skin contact, 2-6 hours adding bright flavor and body to the mid-palate. Slow, cool fermentation preserved and enhanced the fresh fruit aromas and the sugar, alcohol and acid are in perfect balance, with a mouth watering finish.
