Our Bistro menu has been created with a focus on small plates allowing our guests to indulge in a unique sharing experience with a melody of local and foraged flavours.

Executive Chef Brandon Frederick & our bistro team invite our guests to sit back, slow down and savour. Be delighted while you enjoy interesting flavour combinations and ingredients that pair beautifully with Hillside’s award-winning wines crafted by Kathy Malone, from 100% Naramata grapes.
The Bistro features a striking 65 seat dining area, lower outdoor patio and an upper open-air patio with breathtaking views of Okanagan Lake.

Meet Our Chef
Raised in Alberta and formed in Vancouver, Chef Brandon has shone his way through notable Vancouver restaurants finding himself in leadership positions for establishments such as Pourhouse, The Acorn, The Diamond and as one of the founding chefs of Row Fourteen in Cawston, BC.
A love for sustainability, farm to table, and regional cuisine led him to pack his bags and take his passion to Toronto in the role of Sous Chef of the prolific restaurant Antler. While there solidifying the ethos of regionality and creating a dialogue within himself for Canadian Cuisine, he also worked alongside Vancouver born Executive chef Austin Ratcliff at the idyllic Cambridge Mill. But with the West in his heart and a story to keep writing, Chef Brandon headed back to British Columbia to helm the beloved Row Fourteen, showcasing the bounty of the Okanagan and the stories this beautiful region offers.
After two incredible seasons as the Head Chef, he is proud to continue writing the stories of Okanagan cuisine joining our talented team here at Hillside.
